Terms and Conditions

1. Platform Overview

Legally Marketplace, owned by 247 Tech and Infrastructures Limited, is a multi-sector platform providing:

• E-commerce: Facilitating the sale and purchase of physical products.
• Rentals: A booking system for properties, vehicles, and various equipment.
• Services: A marketplace for both digital (remote) and physical (on-site) professional services.

2. The Escrow Payment & Release Policy

To ensure a secure environment for both buyers and sellers, Legally Marketplace utilizes a mandatory Escrow System.

• Payment Holding: When a transaction is initiated, the funds are paid by the user and held securely by the platform.
• Delivery Notification: The Seller or Service Provider must update the status of the order to "Delivered" upon completion.
• The 24-Hour Window: The Buyer/Client has a 24-hour period from the moment of delivery to inspect the product, rental item, or service.
• Automated Release: If no dispute is raised within this 24-hour window, the system will automatically release funds to the Seller/Provider.
• Finality: Once funds are released after the 24-hour window, the transaction is considered closed and non-refundable via the platform.

3. Rental Specifics (Property, Vehicles, Equipment)

• Condition of Assets: Owners must ensure all rental items are in the condition described.
• Liability: Legally Marketplace acts as a facilitator and is not liable for damages, accidents, or misuse of rented vehicles or equipment. Users are encouraged to sign secondary physical agreements for high-value rentals.

4. Service Provision (Digital & Physical)

• Verification: While we provide the platform, users are encouraged to verify the credentials of service providers.
• Fulfillment: Digital services must be delivered via the platform’s specified channels to remain protected by the Escrow policy.

5. Disputes and Resolutions

• Filing a Claim: If a product or service is not as described, the user must flag the transaction within the 24-hour inspection period.
• Mediation: 247 Tech and Infrastructures Limited reserves the right to mediate disputes. We may request photo/video evidence or chat logs to determine if funds should be refunded or released.

6. Prohibited Conduct

Users agree not to:

• Circumvent the Escrow system by making direct payments to sellers.
• Post fraudulent, illegal, or infringing content.
• Harass other users or provide false information regarding delivery.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, 247 Tech and Infrastructures Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the marketplace or the conduct of any third-party users.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the courts of Lagos State.
